Laura’s professional experience extends from information management consulting to academic historical research, collegiate education, and writing. A decade focused on delivering information solutions earned her a reputation as a gifted project manager and trusted advisor to companies ranging from nonprofits to Fortune Global 10. Her portfolio has included industries such as oil and gas, engineering and construction, transportation, financial services, government, and the arts, as well as business functions across the enterprise. Laura’s prior university work gave her the opportunity to direct community groups and collaborate with leading scholars across academic disciplines.

Like Dwight, Laura is passionate about the arts. She studied for more than ten years at the Houston Ballet Academy and studied vocal performance at Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. Driven by an intense curiosity about the world and a passion for teaching and learning, Laura earned a Ph.D. in History from Northwestern University. Her academic experiences both in and out of the classroom inform her insights and approach to business, management, and entrepreneurship.
